Welcome to Elegant Digital Agency. These Service Terms govern the provision of services by Elegant Digital Agency (“Agency”, “we”, “our”, “us”) to the Client (“Client”, “you”, “your”).
By engaging our services, you agree to these Service Terms.
1. Services Covered
These terms apply to services including, but not limited to:

- WordPress Website Development
- WooCommerce Development
- Website Redesign Services
- Website Maintenance Services
- SEO Services
- Website Speed Optimisation
- Technical Support Services
- Digital Consulting Services
2. Project Scope
All projects will be carried out according to the scope outlined in the approved quotation, proposal or agreement.
Any work requested outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may be subject to additional charges.
Changes to the project scope may affect project timelines and costs.
3. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate project requirements
- Supply content, images and other required materials in a timely manner
- Review deliverables and provide feedback promptly
- Make payments according to the agreed payment schedule
- Cooperate throughout the project lifecycle
Delays in providing required information or approvals may result in project delays.
4. Project Timelines
Project timelines provided by Elegant Digital Agency are estimates based on the information available at the time of quotation.
Project completion dates may be affected by:
- Scope changes
- Delayed feedback
- Delayed content delivery
- Third-party service issues
- Unforeseen technical challenges
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate any timeline adjustments.
5. Design & Development Process
Our typical project workflow includes:
1. Discovery & Consultation
Understanding business goals and project requirements.
2. Planning & Strategy
Project planning, architecture and SEO considerations.
3. Design
Creation of layouts and user interface concepts.
4. Development
Building and implementing website functionality.
5. Testing & Optimisation
Quality assurance, responsiveness and performance testing.
6. Launch
Website deployment and final delivery.
6. Revisions
Project proposals may include a specified number of revision rounds.
Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
Revision requests must remain within the original project scope unless otherwise agreed.
7. Content Responsibility
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client is responsible for providing:
- Website content
- Text and copywriting
- Images
- Videos
- Logos
- Branding materials
The Client warrants that they have the necessary rights and permissions to use any content supplied for the project.
8. Third-Party Services
Projects may involve third-party services including:
- Hosting providers
- Domain registrars
- Payment gateways
- Premium plugins
- Premium themes
- Software licences
Any fees associated with third-party services are the responsibility of the Client unless explicitly included in the project quotation.
Elegant Digital Agency is not responsible for the availability, policies or performance of third-party services.
9. Website Hosting & Domain Names
Unless specifically included in a quotation or agreement, hosting services and domain registrations are the responsibility of the Client.
The Client is responsible for maintaining active hosting and domain services required for website operation.
10. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
While we follow SEO best practices during website development and SEO campaigns, we do not guarantee:
- Specific search engine rankings
- Website traffic increases
- Lead generation results
- Sales or revenue growth
SEO results depend on many factors beyond our control, including competition, industry conditions and search engine algorithm changes.
11. Website Maintenance Services
Website maintenance services are provided according to the selected maintenance plan.
Maintenance services may include:
- WordPress updates
- Plugin updates
- Security monitoring
- Website backups
- Technical support
- Performance monitoring
Maintenance plans do not include major redesigns, new functionality or extensive development work unless specifically stated.
12. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment of all project fees, ownership of the completed website design and development work will be transferred to the Client.
Elegant Digital Agency reserves the right to:
- Display completed projects within our portfolio
- Reference projects for marketing purposes
- Showcase project screenshots and case studies
unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Third-party licences, plugins, software and assets remain subject to their respective licensing agreements.
13. Project Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend project work where:
- Payments remain outstanding
- Client communication ceases for an extended period
- Required materials are not provided
- The Client breaches these Service Terms
Project timelines may be adjusted accordingly.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elegant Digital Agency shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from:
- Website downtime
- Data loss
- Business interruption
- Third-party service failures
- Delayed project completion
- SEO performance fluctuations
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
15. Termination
Either party may terminate a project or service arrangement by providing written notice.
Any work completed and costs incurred up to the termination date shall remain payable.
Refund requests will be handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.
16. Governing Law
These Service Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of Sri Lanka unless otherwise agreed in writing.
17. Changes to Service Terms
Elegant Digital Agency reserves the right to update these Service Terms at any time.
Any updates will be published on this page with the revised effective date.
