At Elegant Digital Agency, we believe in maintaining a transparent and professional payment process for all projects and services. By engaging our services, you agree to the following payment terms.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We currently accept payments via:
- Direct Bank Deposits
- Bank Transfers
Payment instructions and banking details will be provided on the official quotation or invoice.
2. Payment Structure
To secure project scheduling and commencement, payment terms vary depending on the service provided.
2.1 Website Design & Development Services
70% Advance Payment
A non-refundable advance payment of 70% of the total project value is required before any design, development or project-related work begins.
Project work will commence only after the advance payment has been received and confirmed.
30% Final Payment
The remaining 30% balance payment is due upon project completion and before the final website, source files, administrative access, credentials or project deliverables are handed over to the client.
2.2 Website Maintenance Services
Website maintenance services are billed in advance.
100% Advance Payment
The full maintenance fee must be paid at the beginning of the agreed maintenance period before any maintenance services are provided.
Maintenance services may include:
- WordPress updates
- Plugin updates
- Security monitoring
- Website backups
- Performance monitoring
- Technical support
Services will commence once payment has been received and confirmed.
2.3 SEO Services
SEO services are provided on a prepaid basis.
100% Advance Payment
The full monthly or agreed SEO service fee must be paid in advance before SEO activities commence.
SEO services may include:
- Technical SEO
- On-page optimisation
- Keyword research
- Content recommendations
- Website audits
- Performance monitoring
- SEO reporting
Continued SEO services are subject to timely payment according to the agreed service plan.
3. Late or Outstanding Payments
Elegant Digital Agency reserves the right to suspend or delay services where payments remain outstanding.
This may include:
- Delaying project commencement
- Pausing development work
- Suspending maintenance services
- Suspending SEO activities
- Withholding project deliverables
until all outstanding payments have been settled.
4. Currency & Banking Charges
Project quotations and invoices may be issued in:
- USD (United States Dollar)
- GBP (British Pound Sterling)
- EUR (Euro)
- AUD (Australian Dollar)
- LKR (Sri Lankan Rupee)
Any bank transfer charges, intermediary banking fees or currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Refunds
Payments made to Elegant Digital Agency are subject to our Refund Policy.
If the Client chooses to halt, cancel or terminate the project and requests a refund, all work completed up to that point will be calculated and billed at our applicable hourly rate, together with any third-party costs, expenses or fees incurred in connection with the project.
Any such charges will be deducted from the payments already received, and any remaining balance will be refunded to the Client.
If, at the time of the refund request, the value of the work completed and expenses incurred exceeds the amount already paid by the Client, the Client shall remain liable for the outstanding balance and agrees to pay all amounts due for work completed up to the date of cancellation.
No refund shall be provided for completed deliverables, approved work, third-party services, software licences, domain registrations, hosting services or other non-recoverable expenses purchased or incurred on behalf of the Client.
6. Invoices
Official invoices will be issued for all payments.
Clients are responsible for ensuring payments are completed according to the invoice terms and due dates.
7. Changes to Payment Terms
Elegant Digital Agency reserves the right to modify these Payment Terms at any time. Any updates will be published on this page with the revised effective date.
